My name is Ramya Mohankumar and I am a surgery resident at the Medical College of Georgia. I am lucky enough to have had a family that supported the arts and supported me in my many different “phases”, whether it was watercolor painting, music production, singing, or classical music training. With their support, I am able to explore many different ways of capturing the things around me.

I had always been interested in photography. My first camera: a disposable waterproof kodak that I took on a trip with me to Mackinac Island. Ever since then, I had always been fascinated with the world of photography; this fascination is what brings me here today.
